Rooibos Asian Pear Tea

The tea tasting has been going better than I had anticipated. I guess that’s partially because I’m staying away from all the black and green teas.

Today I tried Bigelow’s Organic Rooibos Asian Pear Tea, and although I was hesitant at first, it left me rather satisfied. I made it iced with sweetener and although the flavors were slightly odd, it was delightful!

It had a great fresh summer taste, and a bit of an apple punch to it, which made it really refreshing! I would recommend this flavor to those who like fruity teas and aren’t afraid of change or something out of the box. Do be careful with the adjustments of sweetener though, because at first I did put a bit too much sugar, but I added a few more ice cubes and it evened out. But it could be too intense with too much sweetener, and I found it went down easier when giving it a bit of a blander flavoring.
